Minor Quake

An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 was recorded in Pizarra shortly before 5pm on Saturday. The National Geographical Institute placed the epicentre north-east of the town at a depth of 53 kilometres. The effect of the earth movement was so minor that the emergency services received no calls from the public.
