Fire crews from Almuñécar were called to La Herradura on Saturday morning to rescue a one-year-old child trapped inside a locked car. One of the parents called the emergency services after they locked themselves out of the vehicle, with their keys in the boot. A rear window was broken to get in to rescue the distressed youngster.
