Torremolinos town hall has been ordered to pay nearly €30,000 to a municipal worker who won a lawsuit over humiliating and unfair treatment by former mayor Pedro Fernández Montes. The incidents date to 2009 after the then municipal secretary had argued with the mayor over some of his policies or decisions. In addition to abusive treatment, she was wrongfully sacked, according to a court ruling.
