Marbella town hall has given the green light for the partial demolition of the old Don Miguel hotel, the initial step in a project that will see the establishment rebuilt and reopened by new owner Magna Hotels and Resorts under the management of Club Med. Teardown work is expected to start in February and construction to launch in April, with a planned opening date in spring 2019.
