The regional government has invested €121,000 in upgrades to the maternity unit at the Hospital Comarcal in Vélez-Málaga. The work has consisted of the redistribution of space and equipment, adapting them to the requirements of current clinical practices. So far this year, the unit has assisted in around 900 births, including four sets of twins.
