A 33-year-old Torrox man who was accidently struck on the head during an Easter procession in Vélez-Málaga late on Sunday, was detained after assaulting a security guard. He came into contact with a throne being processed, then blamed the guard for not warning him of danger. The 28-year-old guard was later attacked by the suspect with a baseball bat, causing a serious ear injury.
