The site of the Karting de Mijas go-kart track, by the town’s racecourse, is set to be auctioned off by the tax agency due to tax debts owed by the municipal company Recursos Turisticos, which owns the site, said the town hall last week. The track was closed down some months ago after the town hall discovered it was built without a licence under the previous administration.
