FilmOn, one of the most popular methods of watching British TV on the Costa del Sol, has become pay-only. Many expats who use the internet-based service to watch BBC, ITV and other channels on their phones, computers and IPTV boxes got a shock on Monday when FilmOn began going off after two minutes, and to continue viewing the service wants people to sign up to a subscription of either €14.95 a month, or €149 annually.
