A 30-year-old who drove for 7.5 kilometres along the wrong carriageway of the A-7 between Salobreña and Almuñécar has been handed a 12-month suspended sentence, fined €1,080 and lost his licence for six years after being found guilty of dangerous driving. When stopped in September, he was three times over the alcohol limit and tested positive for cocaine.
