An 82-year-old woman had both legs amputated below the knees after being savagely attacked on Sunday by a neighbour’s dogs. The victim, from Covelo, Galicia, was walking home when the two animals rushed at her, biting off one of her feet and dragging her 30 metres along the ground. She was rescued by her family and rushed to hospital where she is in a critical condition. The dogs are in the pound and their owner has been charged with grevious bodily harm.
