The owner of development company Grupo Mirador, José Enrique Faura, has been acquitted of criminal charges brought by two homebuyers who paid a combined 80,000 euros in deposits for the purchase of two homes in Fuente de Piedra in 2004 that were never delivered. The provincial court ruled that the time limit on the criminal charges had expired. Sr Faura is currently in jail for a conviction in a similar case in Vélez-Málaga.
