A 43-year-old local man has been arrested in Mijas after leading officers on a high-speed car chase in which he drove the wrong way down several streets, attempted to hit two officers who tried to stop him, and crashed into two parked cars, said Guardia Civil officials last week. The incident last month happened as officers were trying to detain him over two home robberies committed in the town.
