An 18-year-old suspected of theft from tourists in Torre del Mar tried to escape by bicycle last week. When police learned of the incidents, they chased him along the road towards Nerja and found him in possession of a ring, four mobile phones, two pairs of sunglasses and €32 in cash amongst other goods. When spotted, he tried to escape but was blocked by pedestrians.
