The Gibraltar government has extended the public consultation period on the draft bill for the legalisation of same-sex civil marriages on the Rock. Originally open until January 15, the period has been extended to January 29, “to ensure the widest possible public consultation,” said officials. The draft bill has been published as a Command Paper and can be viewed at www.gibraltarlaws.gov.gi/commandpapers/C14-2015.pdf.
