The owner of the Club California adult nightclub in Estepona, where a 23-year-old woman died in the flooding in early December, was arrested last week along with her business partner on charges of violating worker rights. They gave statements and were released while the investigation continues. The young Romanian woman worked at the club and was temporarily living there.
