Over 20,000 visitors have climbed more than 200 steps to view Málaga from the roof of its cathedral since it opened to the public a year ago. The 18th century north tower has become a new city attraction allowing unprecedented views from 50 metres up. The fees charged to visitors go towards cathedral restoration and social actions undertaken by the Catholic church in Málaga.
