A former head of the Guardia Civil’s Organised Crime and Anti-Drugs unit (EDOA) in Málaga has been handed a prison sentence of ten and a half years after being found guilty of drugs trafficking. He was amongst 27 people charged variously with public health offences, forgery, theft, illegal possession of weapons and money laundering. He had denied all illegal activity.
