Drivers hitting Spain’s roads over the bank holiday weekend were met by the lowest petrol and diesel prices for those dates in seven years. According to figures provided last week by the European oil bulletin, the price of diesel has dropped 4.41% over the past month, with the average cost of filling a 55-litre tank now €54.78. And petrol costs have fallen 3.94% in a month, with the cost of filling an average-sized tank now €61.71.
