Thousands turned out for a pro-independence rally in Barcelona on Saturday. The march showed support for Catalan’s elected officials who are under investigation and for the 259 town halls which have failed to raise the Spanish flag on various occasions. The protest was called by three independent groups which support Cataluña’s split from Spain.
