Three men and a youth were detained following a 22 kilometre early morning chase around Málaga after they failed to stop at a routine police checkpoint. Six patrols chased their car along the motorway, as it occupants threw out suspected drugs, before it changed direction and collided with an oncoming vehicle. No-one was injured but the driver was found to hold neither a licence nor insurance.
