A 50-year-old British woman was rescued from the Caminto del Rey cliff-side walkway at El Chorro last Thursday after falling and cutting her shin on some steps near the path’s suspension bridge. The protocol for accidents on the Caminito was activated and the woman was carried out on a stretcher before being taken to a local health centre.
