The Guardia Civil have arrested four people accused of 18 copper phone cable thefts in various areas of Málaga province. In all, they allegedly stole 10,000 kilos of cable, causing €100,000 in replacement and repair costs. They were caught in the act during a theft in late January in Estación de Cártama, said Guardia Civil officials last week.
