Around 140 members of the Diocese of Málaga were in the Vatican on Sunday to witness the canonisation of one of the city’s former bishops. They watched as Pope Francis declared Manuel González García a saint. As bishop from 1916 to 1935 he led the formation and construction of Málaga’s Seminary.
