The provincial government’s website dedicated to ornithology in Málaga – www.birdingmalaga.es – now features a new section, available in English, entitled ‘Recommended site of the month’, offering information on the best current locations for bird-watching and the species to keep an eye out for. For March, the Diputación has highlighted the mouth of the Guadalhorce river and the Fuente de Piedra lagoon, while the bird of the month is the white-headed duck.
