The long-closed and recently purchased Byblos hotel in Mijas could be bigger than ever when it reopens. The town hall’s planning department has issued a report establishing a maximum of 300 rooms, over double the number in the original hotel. The new owners have said that they hope to start a major refurbishment next year for a 2019 opening.
