Thieves chose the opening night of Málaga’s annual fair to blast their way into a branch of Banco Santander in the city. The alarm was raised at 3.00am on Saturday when the gang attacked on the El Viso industrial estate. Police said their use of plastic explosives was similar to that used during a recent raid on ToysRUs on Avenida de Velázquez.
