Two baby elephants have been born in less than a month at an open-air wildlife park in Cantabria. Cabárceno Park’s vets have developed specialist techniques to monitor the females’ reproduction efficiency and say 10 or 11 more are in calf. One of the new arrivals is being bottle fed after her mother rejected her after giving birth alone in the open.
