A 19-year-old Almería farm worker has been sentenced to 15 months in jail after he was filmed jumping into a pig-pen and flattening dozens of young piglets. He and the camera operator, who recieved the same setence, have also been ordered to pay the farmer €4,470 in compensation. While 10 of the animals were killed outright from being crushed, another 60 either died later or had to be put down.
