Five cats died and three more were left on medication for life after eating poison contained in meatballs thrown into their owner’s garden. The incident in Málaga in March 2011 has left a couple, who allegedly attacked their neighbour’s eight cats, facing prison and compensation. They are due in court today, Thursday, to face charges of animal abuse.
