Ronda’s angels have been returned to the town’s Alameda del Tajo park. The two statues were removed from their fountains last month to undergo restoration work, as they had suffered damage due to deterioration and vandalism – with one of the statues torn from its support late last year. The council announced last week that the €800 month-long project to renovate the angels has been completed.
