The Starlite summer concert series is gearing up for its seventh annual edition this year

THE MARBELLA  council is expected to approve a motion tomorrow (January 26) for the Starlite summer concert series to be officially declared a ‘festival of special municipal interest’, as a way to recognise the event’s importance and help ensure it remains in the town in future.

The town hall said this week that the festival, which is gearing up for its seventh annual edition this year, has become “one of the most outstanding music and tourism events in the international sphere in general and in the town of Marbella in particular”.
