THE National Police and Guardia Civil have arrested five people in the break-up of a gang accused of robbing over 70 homes on the Costa, mainly luxury villas, said officials last week.
The group operated in Marbella, Estepona, Mijas and Torremolinos, breaking into homes at night when the occupants were sleeping and making off with cash, jewellery and other valuables, often fleeing in the victims’ own cars.
