ONE of the Costa del Sol’s top tapas crawls has returned for another year, bringing with it thousands of foodies to the streets of Fuengirola.
Since its introduction nine years ago as a strategy to boost trade during a traditionally quiet month, Fuengirola’s Ruta de la Tapa Erótica has become one of the most important dates on the town’s cultural calendar. This year’s edition features 77 bars and restaurants offering unique ‘saucy’ tapas, for just €2.50 with a drink.
