Diputación uses budget surplus to fund local public works

Town halls throughout Málaga province are to receive a cash injection totalling €27 million for public works, thanks to the Diputación de Málaga’s budget surplus from last year.

The provincial government, which approved the move unanimously, said it was made possible by the “healthy economic situation” of the Diputación, with a total budget surplus of €44 million.
