A POLITICAL and possible legal scandal erupted in Mijas last week after a Spanish newspaper reported that the opposition Partido Popular had allegedly offered a Costa del Sol Sí Puede councillor a private-sector job if he agreed to support an ouster vote against mayor Juan Carlos Maldonado of the Ciudadanos party.
