Trains run late into the night so visitors to Málaga can leave the car at home

People heading into Málaga for the Semana Santa celebrations this week can avoid traffic and parking headaches in the city by taking the train instead, with Renfe offering expanded and later-night service on the line.

Trains are travelling at their usual 20-minute intervals in both directions, but with increased capacity and running later into the night every day during the week and practically all night long on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Those two nights the trains will run every 20 minutes uninterrupted except for a break between 3.30am and 5.20am in the Málaga-Fuengirola direction and between 4.20am and 6.10am heading the other way.
