The number of Britons who have started the procedure to obtain Spanish nationality since the approval of Brexit has quadrupled from 28 between January 1 and March 15, 2016 to 111 in the same period this year.
The data obtained by state news agency EFE is an example of a trend that started in June last year when the referendum took place.
