The 19-year-old son of a British family living in Madrid has been released after having being held captive by his father for two years. Police say he was living in squalid solitary confinement and his weight had fallen to that of a 12-year-old. The terrified youth told officers that he had been beaten every day and was given very little food and water during his internment.
