A BRITISH paedophile who was arrested in Fuengirola last year just hours after being featured in a Crimestoppers most-wanted appeal has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison in the UK.

Matthew Sammon, 46, pleaded guilty to making and possessing indecent photographs of children. He had downloaded and collected more than 34,000 indecent images and videos, which police found on his computer and on CDs and memory sticks after his original arrest in South London in 2014.
