THE family of the three-year-old girl who was found dead on a railway line after disappearing in Pizarra have appealed to the public for help. They are trying to establish how Lucía Vivar travelled almost four kilometres in the dark from where she vanished on the evening of July 27 to where she was found eight hours later.

The child’s death is still being treated as an accident by police investigators, who believe she fell asleep after walking along the track, and was hit by a train. However, her family are looking for evidence which may point to the involvement of a third party.
