THE Guardia Civil are investigating 50 suspects over alleged animal abuse or neglect, as part a crackdown launched in Málaga province in January of this year.
Investigators discovered many animals kept in deplorable conditions or suffering untreated diseases, and in some cases found animals that were already dead.
