Only two local police officers have been on duty per shift in San Fulgencio during the summer, when the municipality’s population reaches about 30,000 people, according to the local police and fire fighters’ union (SPPLB).
Councillor for police Vicente Murcia has told Costa Blanca News how the town hall plans to rectify the situation.
