Western success in the east of Spain

The population of Western marsh harrier has increased in the Prat de Cabanes-Torreblanca natural park near the Castellón coast.

Rangers located 75 nests, where they have been able to ring 151 chicks.

Regional director for the environment Raúl Mérida said this bird of prey had been in danger of extinction in the region.
