The government has now published information in the state official bulletin (BOE) about their system for talking exercise during the state of emergency for people aged 14 and over.

The new regulations come into force tomorrow (May 2).

Most of the material is included in the two previous reports from Costa Blanca News on this website and our Facebook page.

However, there is additional information.

The BOE states that people are allowed to practise ‘any individual sport which does not require contact with other people’.

This should be done with the timeframes already printed and can only be done once a day.

For walks/strolls people can only go up to 1km from their home.

However, ‘this limitation is not applicable to sport, which can be carried out anywhere in the municipality in which the participant lives’.

People can use public paths, thoroughfares and spaces for their walks and sport.

The activity can only be done once a day – but no time limit has been set, apart from it has to be done within the timeframes set out for each section of the population.

The complete information is available in Spanish in the BOE at

Costa Blanca News will publish a complete summary of the information in next Friday’s newspaper.
