Millions to restore Mar Menor

Investment totalling €382 million in projects to regenerate the Mar Menor has been announced by the national government.

These schemes are designed to ‘restore the biological integrity of the lagoon’, and help the surrounding area to ‘become more compatible with preserving the natural capital of this unique enclave’.
