THE MEMORY of Valencia residents who fought against fascism has been upheld by regional president Ximo Puig.
Sr Puig accompanied justice councillor Gabriela Bravo to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the liberation of Mauthausen concentration camp where many Spaniards were interned.
