THIS year’s Vuelta a España cycle race will start from one of the emblematic ‘hills’ of salt on the shore of Torrevieja lake.
The announcement followed a visit to the salt works by La Vuelta officials and provincial vice-president Eduardo Dolón to see if the proposal was ‘technically viable’.
