A 58-year-old man died in a house fire in Santa Pola on Monday afternoon.
The incident in Avenida Salamanca was reported to the emergency services at 16.35.
The emergency services were able to carry the man out of the house but he had already suffered serious burns to different parts of his body and the effects of smoke inhalation.
