Government ‘gets a grip’ on inflation

Inflation was slowed to 6.8% in Spain in November, largely due to the reduction in the price of electricity and fuel.

However, supermarkets prices remained high.

The figures from the national statistics institute (INE) show that the average price of food items and non-alcoholic drinks has risen by 15.3% since November, 2021.
