Two firefighting aircraft helped to extinguish a blaze that broke out in pine trees behind Playa del Carabasí in Elche on Wednesday evening.
Around 1,000 square metres of the wood were affected by the flames.
Teams on the ground battled the flames while helicopters dropped water from above.
